I’ve been photographing Charleston and the Lowcountry for nearly two decades. I approach each milestone with a quiet, attentive approach and a strong belief that good photographs should still feel right years from now.
Along the way, I’ve been voted Best Photographer in Charleston twice. I know when to trust my instincts, when to step in, and how to make the photograph work.
A calm approach, built on attention
Good photography starts with paying attention. I’m watching the light, the composition, the people, and the details that make a photograph work. I’ll give direction when it helps and leave room when it doesn’t. The approach changes with what’s in front of the camera, but the standard stays the same: strong photographs that feel natural, polished, and true to what was there.
Based in Charleston, available beyond it
Local experience matters. Knowing how venues photograph, how the light changes through the day, and how to move through a wedding calmly and efficiently helps create a smoother experience and a stronger final gallery.
I photograph weddings primarily throughout Charleston and the Lowcountry; I am available for select destination celebrations as well.
